Current Work

These current works were born from a curiosity regarding how textiles are typically displayed. By taking away the softness and gravity that weighs the piece down, the culmination becomes more of a solid unit - what freedoms does it give and what does it take away? These experimental collaborations of different weaving, macrame, sewing and crochet techniques, layered with unexpected materials, are largely texture driven in various ways.
